The Incredible power of your mind.

The Incredible power of your mind.

The most valuable gifts given to man are the ones that are for free yet they are the ones that people take for granted the most; whether its the air we breathe, the time spent or the friends we have, but the one that is underutilized the most is the human mind.

Throughout the centuries there have been remarkable feats that have been accomplished from building the 7 wonders of the ancient world to putting man on the moon and countless other feats we have achieved but where did they all come from? It all came from a simple thought, an idea that spurred a human being into action and with his vision he shared it others who were invested in it and with their shared goal and purpose saw to achieve it to the very end.

All it takes for you to utilize the power of your mind is to have a vision or a goal of where you want to be in the future and the machine will instantly work for you, brand new ideas will be manufactured out of thin air and you'll wonder "Is this really me?" and yes this could be you, only if you narrow your focus to one thing to accomplish.

🔓 Unlocking the power within 🧠

There a catch... for you to unlock this power you must pay the price and you might be wondering "what do you mean by price, I have a brain already, what more do I need ?" and yes you are completely right but not entirely so, what I mean is for you to generate all these life changing ideas they must come from reading and studying. Yes I know some of you might start saying "studying isn't meant for me, I left that at school" or "I cant even look at a book without getting bored", but that's where the problem starts, you're already defeated before the race even begins. I think peoples perception about reading is that they must finish ten whole chapters in a day everyday from Monday to Monday and don't get me wrong, if you can do that all the more power to you, but it doesn't have to be this way.

One of the simplest thing you can do to get started is to read a few pages every day consistently, why consistently you may ask, because this helps to build your discipline where you'll continue reading even on the days when you simply don't feel like it but you keep pushing. Consistent reading also helps to build your identity* as a reader since its a task you'll be doing quite often. (It also sounds elegant when you tell people "I'm a reader")

*(I got this idea from the book Atomic Habits By James Clear, its a book I highly recommend you to read.)

Now if truly you've tried and haven't seen any success in reading then there are alternative ways to tackle the problem namely listening to audiobooks or listening to a summarised version of the book (I'm not a fan since there might be some details or insights that may be glossed over)

Books are the meals that your brain feeds on and as you amass your library in correlation your mind will be filled with just as many ideas and inspirations that can bring significant change to your life and don't just read any books, read books that will add value to yourself and improve your thought process.

🏁conclusion

We all have an incredible machines stored on-top of our shoulders that can do complex calculations, remember vivid memories and create incredible ideas however many fail to realize its full potential daily, so why don't you be the few who make the most out your machine today?
